Newhaven Town Centre Revitalisation Fund
The Newhaven Enterprise Zone (NEZ) Town Centre Revitalisation Fund is designed to make the town centre a more attractive place for visitors, workers and residents to spend time in, boosting Newhaven’s economy.
Independent retailers, landowners and tenants are being invited to apply for grants to enhance the appearance of storefronts that are used for commercial purposes. Much of the fund is used to cover the cost of repairs to eligible retail and hospitality premises, including fascia restoration, painting, decorating, guttering and lighting – all of which elevate the area, boost footfall and encourage local residents and visitors to come into the Town Centre.
All businesses and landowners located in the Town Centre Enterprise Zone are invited to apply. A minimum of 25% match funding is required up to a maximum grant of £7,500.
Criteria
Projects need to meet these criteria:
- Match funding with 25% of the cost, to a project maximum of £10,000 (so you will need £2,500 to get a £7,500 grant)
- Demonstrate impact and benefits
- Demonstrate value for money
- Delivered within a 12-month period
