Accessibility Statement

The East Sussex Growth Hub is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to make our website and all associated content as accessible and usable as possible, meeting the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

What we are doing to support accessibility

  • Our website has been designed to be accessible on desktop, tablet and mobile devices
  • Pages are tested to achieve a minimum Silktide accessibility score of 90+
  • Content is written in plain English and adheres to GDS guidelines for readability
  • All documents hosted on our website, such as templates and factsheets, are uploaded in accessible formats
  • We conduct regular audits and testing to identify and fix accessibility issues
  • Our site follows recognised development standards including clean HTML, keyboard navigation support, appropriate use of ARIA landmarks and focus-visible elements

Known accessibility issues

We are aware that some older PDF documents provided by third parties may not fully meet accessibility standards. These documents are being reviewed and will be updated or replaced with accessible alternatives wherever possible.
