About the programme
The East Sussex Digital Growth Series is part of the county’s business growth and digital skills initiative, funded through the East Sussex Growth Hub and the UK Government.
The programme is delivered by Portobello Business Centre in partnership with East Sussex County Council and the East Sussex Growth Hub, delivering a fully funded series of practical workshops designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) make the most of digital tools, and give them the confidence to compete and grow in an increasingly digital marketplace.
The programme begins with an ‘introduction’ session followed by six workshops, each led by an experienced trainer, covering the following topics:
- Make your website work harder
- Stand out on Google
- Create effective content
- Using Artificial Intelligence and Automation
- Understand your data
- Protect your business from cyber crime
The workshops combine practical advice, real-world examples and simple steps you can take immediately to strengthen your business online.
When and where?
The programme runs from December 2025 to March 2026, with in-person sessions across Eastbourne, Hastings, Uckfield, Lewes and Bexhill.
